Objectives of the course
The course aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge of literary, linguistic and Italian philology studies, from Romance origins to present day, as well as in the area of general linguistics and history of art. The graduate will be able to write and speak at least one European language other than Italian and use information technology in the areas of research of their degree course.
Career opportunities
The course prepares students to be able to work: in publishing, communication and journalism; in middle schools and high schools (after completing the training in accordance with the law); in public and private cultural institutions and centres (archives, libraries, foundations) both in Italy and abroad; in publishing for tourism; in museums and other public offices for the fine arts.
Students can choose among three curricula:
▪ Competences for Publishing to work in publishing, communication and journalism
▪ Textual Competences for Teaching to teach literary subjects in middle and high schools
▪ Textual Competences for Tourism Promotion to promote Italian culture (literature, arts, etc.) and to implement actions for cultural promotion
